I have a problem. I am a dreamer. I set goals for myself that are extra lofty. I try to accomplish multiple lofty goals at the same time. I make all my goals the most important. I stop working on one goal part way through because i have not put effort to another goal. I stop myself consistently to reaching any of the goals because my attention is everywhere. Enter "The Miracle Equation".
Decide on my (first) Miracle Mission
- Health and Fitness: weigh 140 lbs. with less than 30% BF, be able to run one (1) mile, have an average resting heart rate of 85, and reduce my clothing sizes to size 6 pants, size 8 dress, and a medium top
- Business and Career: create a stable and legitimate professional photography business that generates $48k in sales to pay myself back for all of the owner equity, and be able to pay myself a salary.
- Become a director, earn the court of sharing, and pay myself back for my owner equity and begin to pay myself for my work.
- Family and Friends: Develop stronger relationships with my parents, brother and his family, and my stepsisters.
- Relationships and Romance: Take Ron on a vacation and spend our 1 year anniversary on a trip to Antarctica
- Finance: Create a passive income plan, have $50K in savings and max annual IRA contributions for myself and Ron
- Personal Development: read at least 1 hour daily and spend 1 hour learning a new skill
- Fun and Recreation: Go snowboarding, skateboarding, have a blog, craft with my fun ideas, and get back on my motorcycle
- Spiritual: meditate, have gratitude, and journal daily
Which one of theses goals will enable me to become the person I need to be to achieve everything else I want for my life?
Create a stable and legitimate professional photography business that generates $48k in sales to pay myself back for all of the owner equity, and be able to pay myself a salary.
By creating a stable and legitimate professional photography business, I will be legally and financial correct with the state and federal government, I will know and understand where my business stands and what I need to do to move to the next level. A professional photography business is able to become my primary income to support myself, allowing me to feel secure in my ability to generate sales, remove my debt, and have a business that is transferable to other locations and employ additional personnel. I will not be afraid to look at what I am doing in my business and take on new challenges for growth. I will be comfortable approaching, starting, and maintain conversations with new people to create relationships and trust. I will be able to reach my financial goals by removing my owner equity debt, contribute to my IRA and savings, and add to our lifestyle and financial needs. I will work on and in my photography business every week like a normal 9-5 job, totaling 40 hours a week.
My accountability will be through writing this blog of my journey and sharing it. This will include logging what I did and completing step 5 of the challenge daily
Assess My Process and Progress (Daily)
I will assess my process and progress at the end of every work day on this blog. To assess I will answer the following questions
- What was my biggest win towards my mission in the last 24 hours?
- Did I follow through with my process?
- What was my biggest area of improvement?
- Is there anything I could be doing differently or better?
- What lessons have I learned so far?
- Are there any changes/adjustment to my Process that I need to make?
- Is there anyone else I can reach out to for advice or feedback
